What we do
A conference stream is competing with the viewer's inbox. Nobody in the room can leave halfway through a session, but someone watching at their desk can, and a static wide shot of a lectern with unreadable slides gives them every reason to. The people who drop off are usually the ones who paid for online access.
So we build it to hold attention. Cameras that actually cut, so the picture changes with the content. Slides mixed in properly rather than shot off the screen at an angle. Audio from the desk, so a speaker who steps away from the lectern is still audible. And remote contributors handled as part of the programme, not as an interruption to it.
We work with conference organisers, trade associations, professional bodies and in-house comms teams, from a single-track day to a multi-room summit. Half the value is in pre-production: the deck check, the remote speaker test, the run of show, all done before anyone arrives.
What we cover
How it works
Sessions, chairs, who is remote, where the breaks fall, and which parts you want on the record and which you do not.
We look at the slides in advance and tell you which ones will not read on a phone, in time for the speaker to fix them.
A proper call with each remote contributor days ahead: camera, audio, screen share and their connection, not a hopeful link on the morning.
Cameras, desk feed, slide feed and the stream all running end to end while the room is still being set out.
A dedicated, tested venue line gets used where there is one. Delegate WiFi never carries the broadcast, and bonded 4G, 5G and Starlink travel with us either way.
Where it goes
Pricing
Cost is driven by camera count, how many rooms run at once, crew days, the length of the programme and what you need afterwards. Not by resolution, and not by whose badge is on the kit. You get an itemised quote suitable for procurement, and it does not move unless the programme does.
Included as standard
Crewed operators, our own bonded connectivity as failover, slide integration, remote speaker testing, separate recording paths, every session recorded, and insurance and RAMS with the quote.
Quoted separately
Travel and accommodation, additional rooms for parallel tracks, edited highlights, caption and BSL specialists, and extra crew above a certain scale.
No fixed packages
Packages mean paying for cameras you do not need, or finding out on the morning that something you assumed was included is not.
We take a feed of the presentation output and mix it into the stream, cutting between full slide, speaker, and both together depending on what is on screen. The thing that actually breaks this is the deck itself: light grey nine point body text is readable from row four and unreadable on a phone. We will flag that in advance and give your speakers a note about it.
Yes. Each room gets its own cameras, audio, encoder and output, so a delegate can pick a track online the same way they would in the building. It is genuinely more expensive than one room, because it is more crew and more kit rather than a switch we flick.
Yes, and we test them before the day rather than in the ten minutes before they are due on. Their camera, audio and slides come through our production so they appear as part of the programme, they hear the room, and the room sees them properly on the main screens instead of a laptop propped on the lectern.
Yes, through the platform's own tools or a dedicated app, with a moderator triaging them. The honest part: hybrid Q&A only works if the chair has been briefed to actually take online questions. If nobody in the room owns that, the feature exists and nothing happens with it.
Where the venue can give us a dedicated, tested line we will use it, and in a purpose-built conference centre that is often the best path available. What we will not do is put the broadcast on the delegate WiFi, which is the network everyone in the room is already sitting on. Bonded 4G and 5G plus Starlink travel with us either way.
Every session recorded from a separate path, split per session rather than one eight hour file, so it is usable for on-demand, delegate access or your archive without anyone having to sit and cut it up.
If the whole thing is one speaker at a lectern going out to twenty people on Teams, a laptop and a decent USB camera will do it, and a crewed multi-camera production is money you do not need to spend. We will say so on the call.
Thirty minutes with the venue, the dates and how many rooms, and you will know what we would bring, what it costs, and whether we are the right people for it.
